Meet Our Pastors
Senior Pastor Naida M. Parson, PhD
Reverend Dr. Naida M. Parson, Senior Pastor of New Antioch Christian Fellowship, is a native of Las Vegas, Nevada. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Black Studies from the University of California, Riverside. She has also earned a Master of Arts Degree in African-American Studies with emphasis in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles as well as a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Parson is the first African-American in Nevada to be licensed as a Psychologist.
Dr. Parson was saved in the summer of 1968 at the age of 8 years old. She received the baptism of the Holy Ghost in September of 1975 at the age of 16 at Vegas View Church of God in Christ, pastored by her parents, the late Claude H. Parson, Jr. and Evangelist Stella Mason Parson. She served faithfully in the Church of God in Christ all of her life as a musician, choir director, State Youth Choir President, Fellowship District Youth Chairlady, Sunday School Teacher, Bible College instructor, State Youth Congress Workshop Coordinator, and a Missionary/Evangelist. She also served as Assistant Pastor for Blood of the Lamb True Holiness Ministries under Bishop Maceo Harris until the founding of New Antioch Christian Fellowship.
Dr. Parson is active in the community as a motivational speaker, worship instructor, writer and mentor. Dr. Parson is also the President of New View Ministries evangelistic team. Her God-given task is to open her heart, her experience, and the holy word of God to teach this generation what it is to know, to love, and to serve God.
Associate Pastor Sonya Cheltenham
Pastor Cheltenham comes from a long ancestral line of preachers, teachers, evangelists, and missionaries. She has been a Servant Leader for over 30 years. She has three children Gia, Quiana and Sean-Leigh and four grandchildren Ashlee, Jordan, Gianna and Sasha. She has raised 11 foster children in her home. She is the wife of one husband for 35 years. Pastor Cheltenham has achieved a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work and a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Management. She co-owns a consultation business, SS Consulting, offering services to churches and businesses interested in start-up to reorganization/revitalization. She is currently employed with Clark County Social Services as a Social Work Specialist. She is a trainer of God's people and has nurtured, trained, and guided many missionaries, preachers, and evangelists in their calling.
Associate Pastor Regina K. Rhodes
Prophetess Regina K. Rhodes is the CEO/Founder of Diversified Community Services, Community Development Corporation. The non-profit organization provides therapeutic and behavioral services, workforce initiative programs, transitional housing, legal services, scholarship programs to young veterans, and the Las Vegas metropolitan area at large. Prophetess Rhodes is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Nevada. Over the past fifteen years she has worked in the areas of social work as a mental health provider; early childhood therapist, behavioral direct supervisor, CPS investigator, psychiatric caseworker and child development educator.
In May of 2000, she earned her Bachelor's of Social Work Degree from Arizona State University. In May of 2008, she earned her Master's of Social Work Degree (Administrative) from the Univrsity of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Prophetess Rhodes accepted Christ in her life in March of 1979 and was filled with the Holy Ghost in April of that same year. She attended and graduated from the Charles Harrison Mason Bible College as a Master Teacher in 1991.
Prophetess Rhodes is a founder and associate pastor at New Antioch Christian Fellowship. She currently manages the Congregational Care Department overseeing the Nursery, Children and Youth Ministries, College Age Ministries, Retention and Volunteer Departments, as well as the Women, Men and Senior's Ministries. She is also the lead intercessor over the intercessory team called The Guards. As the current director of the Prophetic department she developed the curriculum for that concentration at Petra-Nia Training Institute. She has ministered in areas such as prison ministry, evangelism, Christian education, and conducted numerous revivals. She also operates in the areas of intercession, prophesy, exhortation, word of knowledge, gift of healing and the laying on of hands and deliverance.
In 2008 God birthed RK Rhodes, "Transformed for Destiny Ministries". She was commissioned to take the word of God outside the borders of the United States. Her goal is to reach the hurting and lost with the transforming and life-changing word of God. Prophetess Rhodes' mission in life is to present a life of sanctification, dedication and faithfulness to the Lord, along with declaring God's word to a lost and misled generation.
